As an authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant I provide you with a high standard for all ceremonial occasions.   I am fully experienced and I have been conducting ceremonies for 14 years.   I have solemnised over 500 marriages, 100 Name Day ceremonies and over 50 Funerals all of which has given me the utmost pride and satisfaction.

My working background in Sales and Marketing has given me the ability to relate to people on all levels.   My love of life and giving nature has made me a very busy celebrant and I am very thankful for that.

I am a great believer in giving back to the community and for 25 years I was a volunteer counsellor with ‘Lifeline’ – an amazing and wonderful organisation.

My 22 year old son Paul died in 1990 and at that time I was gifted with many special people to help me through my sorrow.    As a result, in time, I started and ran a group for bereaved parents through ‘The Compassionate Friends’.  

I am currently a volunteer for The Delta Society (along with my dog Lola).    Delta evaluates the behaviour and health of dogs so they can visit people in hospital (called therapy dogs).   Lola has just undergone an assessment so she is now suitable to visit children in hospital.  We both love children of all ages.

I am quite artistic and at the moment I am having great fun with fabrics and felt.   Creating one off pieces – I say that, because they never turn out the same....really interesting!  Some good, some not so good!!

I love a witty joke and positive thinking people.  Purchasing odds and ends on the internet is fun too.

But, back to you and making your choice of celebrant and the wording for your all important occasion.   All very personal and your choices reflect your views.   Rapport with your celebrant is essential for a relaxed and meaningful ceremony.
